Prize shared after 18 weeks
The "killers" has finally ended after 18 sets of fixtures, the longest since the club has been running the competition. The remaining five contestants all lost their remaining life as the Bolton v Hull game ended in a draw. Therefore the £1000 prize will be shared equally among Noel McGlinchey, Emma O'Neill, Chris Quigg, Eoighin Farren and Martin Jeffrey. A new series of the popular competition got under way on Boxing Day with around 160 entrants.
